New Balance Rainier “Raincloud” Drops January 17

As the anticipation builds for next week’s return courtesy of Aime Leon Dore, New Balance and their Rainier model are readying for a flow-on of general release colorways to see out the winter season. Joining the previously-previewed OG option comes a second — the New Balance Rainier “Raincloud” — to kick-start the model’s first re-run since 2016

Staying true to the original’s heritage, the pair boasts a bevy of low-sheen nylon, shaggy suede, and buttery leathers, all of which arrive in neutral hues. Stoney mesh uppers work with beige suedes, while creamy collars work with chocolate brown trim. D-ring lacestays and rope laces stay true to hiking boot heritage, so too does the hefty traction tread underfoot to complete the design.
