As the anticipation builds for next week’s return courtesy of Aime Leon Dore, New Balance and their Rainier model are readying for a flow-on of general release colorways to see out the winter season. Joining the previously-previewed OG option comes a second — the New Balance Rainier “Tan/Teal” — to kick-start the model’s first re-run since 2016

Staying true to the original’s heritage, the pair boasts a bevy of low-sheen nylon, shaggy suede, and buttery leather. Uppers of teal mesh work with rich tan suedes before bold blacks are introduced at the leather collar and entirety of the sole unit. D-ring lacestays and rope laces stay true to hiking boot heritage, so too does the hefty traction tread underfoot to complete the design.
