Nike Air Force 1 Low “NY vs NY” Celebrates 2022 Summer Streetball Season

After a covid-canceled season in 2020, last year we saw a triumphant return to the blacktop for Summer Streetball Season in New York alongside a special-edition Nike Dunk Low, but 2022 will see the return of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “NY vs NY” which once again honors the legendary tournaments that take place throughout the city.

Taking a more literal approach to the blacktop (which are often green in the Big Apple) the pair presents in a heavy-duty black canvas, with overlays of smooth tonal leathers taking their typical place. Honoring the surrounding greenery often attributed to the celebrated basketball locales are a slew of green accents, including canvas Checks, liners, and NY vs NY-branded tongues. Gersh Park, Tri-State, Lincoln Park, Watson Park, the Uptown Challenge, West 4th, and Dykman are all honored on the lateral embroidery, with each connected to the next by way of transit-style embroidery. The pair is then completed by a clean white midsole and semi-translucent gum rubber outsole.

A release date for the 2022 Nike Air Force 1 Low “NY vs NY” did not accompany the official image set below, but you should expect to see these arrive in time for the Summer Streetball season in adults and kids sizing.
