"Hyper Pink" Kicks Off the Nike Alphafly 4 Release Cycle Post-Debut

The Nike Alphafly 4 marathon racing shoe debuted in limited quantities on Sept. 17. For its inaugural colorway, the long-anticipated racer opted for a "Sea Glass/Laser Crimson" look that blends versatility with a pop of color. Although the Swoosh is scheduled to re-release this debut style in higher quantities by the end of October, the brand is also readying other color schemes for its most-advanced Alphafly yet.

It's still too early to tell exactly how long the Alphafly 4 will be in production (the Alphafly 3 was the shoe for about 32 months), but it's expected that the long distance-performer will be in Nike's plans for at least 15 months. Over this timespan, the fourth Alphafly silhouette should appear in over a dozen different ensembles, with some being exclusive to either Men or Women.

One such style that has surfaced in the latter category is a "Hyper Pink/Fuchsia Blast/Bright Crimson/Black" look—a colorway that goes all-in on the attention-grabbing. It's unlikely that this pair arrives in Men's sizing, but an equally-vibrant Alphafly 4 for Men is expected to surface soon.

The Alphafly 4 is now part of Nike's Raceday System, which includes the ultra-premium Nike Apex and entry-level Swooshfly marathon racers. Still, the Swoosh's design team will surely spend ample time remaining the Alphafly in a plethora of looks as it is the established franchise between the three models.

Over the course of the next 15 months, expect the silhouette's Atomknit 2.0 upper, ZoomX LT foam, and dual forefoot Air Zoom units to indulge in a healthy mix of loud, race-ready makeovers and versatile simple looks that hide wear-and-tear well.

Many new Alphafly 4 releases should take place during Spring/Summer 2027.

Keep an eye on Nike.com as pairs will be added without notice. The Alphafly 4 is priced at $280.
