England's very own Cole Palmer is the latest athlete to reveal a personal logo. The Chelsea F.C. midfielder's, however, may be the coldest.
Although Palmer is sponsored by Nike Football and invited to display what the Phantom 6 is capable of, it seems his logo has not been designed by the North American conglomerate in the same way Alexia Putellas' has been. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old logo could appear on Swoosh-backed product at some point by way of a licensing agreement.
As with many long-standing athlete-specific emblems, Palmer's design makes use of his initials. What's particularly special about their positioning is that they recreate the English star's "cold" celebration.
The caption that accompanied the logo's reveal was "less is more." Although the emblem is simple when compared to other athletes' personal identifiers, public reception has been overwhelmingly positive.
Be on the lookout for the C.P. logo to appear on content and product in the near future. To support Palmer's current club, visit Nike.com to shop all things Chelsea.
