We may not see Kyrie on the court for a long, long time, but you sure will see his eighth signature sneaker hit the hardwood soon.
As one of the most popular lineages in the NBA and your local church league, the Nike Kyrie 8 will be one of the most anticipated performance debuts of the year, despite Kyrie’s initial distaste for the design. Regardless of Kyries feels on the shoe — and his absence from the NBA hardwood, Nike will push on with the releases as scheduled, with the next creation coming exclusively for the kids: the Nike Kyrie 8 “White Cement”
As the title suggests, the pair is clad in a mix of both white and cement grey, split here into very distinct sections. White floods the forefoot and tongue in lightweight textile and leather respectively, whilst the mudguard and back-end are blocking in grey leather and mesh. Midsoles feature the famous White Cement fleck, and the pair is completed by a mostly-black rubber outsole that’s fitted with white traction pads and Kyrie Ivring signatures.
Though a release date for this kids-exclusive Nike Kyrie 8 “White Cement” was originally scheduled for November 20, the sneaker has since disappeared from all calendars — but we’re sure more details will follow soon. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below, and as always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
In related news, the silhouette has just shown up as part of the annual N7 collection.
