The Swoosh has celebrated the Air Force 1’s big birthday bash by celebrating the cities and subcultures that helped build the sneaker into a streetwear icon. From a slew of city-specific Mids to an extensive “Anniversary Edition” collection that touches on everything from its origins in the Bronx to toothbrush-wielding releases. Now we’ve come across the next from that collection — the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Nail Art” — by way of official Nike.com imagery.

Ostensibly honoring the fashion-forward females who have welcomed the Air Force 1 into their wardrobes love the past 40 years, who, despite traditionally a men’s athletic shoe, have made the silhouette their own. For this special Anniversary Edition release, the Swoosh has dressed a simple white build with vibrant pops of University Blue at the overlays, tongue liner, laces, and semi-translucent outsole. The pair’s nail art theme is highlighted on the TPU Swooshes and dubraes that feature a heavenly white and blue finish, with graphic insoles confirming its link to the salon. The pair is then completed with a chrome mini Swoosh hang tag, and retro product tags that define the anatomy of the Air Force 1.

A release date for this new Nike Air Force 1 Low “Nail Art” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com in time for Summer 2022. Until more news arrives, you can enjoy an official look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for further updates.
