Nikewill be dressing up their 25th-anniversary Air Max in cozy duds this autumn, as the Nike Air Max 97 “Corduroy” joins an impending Nike Sportswear collection that’s delivered in the king’s cord.

Joining a recently-revealed Air Max 90, this release arrives in like-for-like white and brown finishes, though it ushers in a new complimentary color of olive green — not orange. With white mesh uppers, tongue, and reflective overlays serving as the pair’s anchor, the Swoosh shuffles in overlays of olive, dark brown suede, and milk chocolate corduroy. Swooshes and pulls arrive color-matched to the titular texture, while more olive is worked into the tongue overlay. All of this comes completed atop an all-white sole unit.
