As we work deeper into the new year, options of the 25th-anniversary Air Max 97are appearing more frequently — especially as we approach the silhouette’s ever-strong Spring/Summer showing. The next to be served up is part of a slowly-building collection, with this Nike Air Max 97 “Dark Beetroot” joining the Air Force 1and Huarachein color scheme, theme, and material make-up.

Like the aforementioned themed pairs, this Air Max 97 is prepared with patent leather overlays of the titular burgundy color. It’s spotted here on the mudguard and lowermost overlays of the upper, with textile rear pulls also tackling the elegant hue. The two-tone color scheme is split with sail at the sole units and sneaker’s top half, the latter working with special woven mesh uppers and tongues akin to that seen on the aforementioned Air Force 1. The pair is then finished off with select hits of gold at the tongue and outsole Swoosh, with insoles of burgundy resting underfoot to complete the design.

A release date for this delicious new Nike Air Max 97 “Dark Beetroot” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the Spring/Summer season.
