Over the years, Nike has found inspiration for its releases from far and wide. As for this new Air Max 97? Your guess is as good as mine — but like it’s matching Air Force 1, I’m definitely feeling a rock-and-roll vibe from these ladies-exclusives.

Anchored in a like tonal off-white burlap and suede scheme, the pair matches the accompanying Uptown perfectly. There’s accompanying suede selections of orange and pink straddle the profiles below a duo of tonal, reflective overlays. There’s a slew of cross-stitch embroidery, the forefoot “Just Do It” and mid-panel peace motifs, as well as a very Rolling Stones-like mouth logo at the tongue. The latter is sighted again at the insoles, while back outside you’ll find a simple sail midsole and gum rubber outsole completing the design.

We’re still waiting for an official release date from our sources, but you should expect to see this playful new Air Max 97 hit select stores and Nike.comin time for Spring 2022. In the meantime, grab a first look at the pair here below, and tune into House of Heat on Twitter for updates.
