First revealed on the Air Max 90 back in April, the impending “Reflective Logo” collection is set to grace a handful of Air Max classics over the Summer. It’s since appeared on the Air Max Plus, and today it’s found its way to the Air Max 97.
Honoring its Air Max origins, this Air Max 97 dons the collection’s overarching white, grey, black, and volt hues. Again it’s white that provides the bulk, with mesh uppers, leather overlays, and midsoles giving the sneaker a bright aura. Add to that some select pops of neon green at the Swooshes, laces, Nike Air branding and Air supports for vibrance, with outsoles of jet black grounding the extremely bright pair. Completing the design are mudguards filled to the brim with retro Nike Air Max logos from over the years, though this pair doesn’t don a reflective finish, instead, leaving that to the traditional overlays above.
We’re still waiting for an official release date from our sources, but it’s expected to launch in the coming weeks from Nike.com and select Swoosh retailers. In the meantime check out the official images here below, and tune into House of Heat on Twitter for all news and updates.
