Just Did It, again.
2018 saw a slew of boldly-printed Nike classics adorn oversized and/or repetitive motif markings, and as we closed out the year, we thought it was one and done. But now, maximalist meets maximalist, as the remnants of Nike’s audacious Overbranding hits the equally adventurous Air Max Plus.
Joining the recently revealed “Just Do It” Cageless Air Max Plus comes this boldly-branded partner, a basic black and white Tn that sports an all-over Nike print. From the tongues to the heels and toes, the white-based Tuned Air sports classic italic Nike lettering vertically across its mesh upper. It comes paired with white leather mudguards and heel overlays, and translucent plastic caging. White also hits the visible Air units, midsole, and midfoot shank, while stark black outsoles add perfect balance. The lone pops of color come from the stock-standard medial heel gold/red Air units and matching heel branding.
