Though it didn’t see a celebration for its 25th anniversary in 2021, Penny Hardaway’s second signature Nike Sneaker will finally see some action in 2022, and comes by way of a special-edition collaboration.

As told to HOUSE OF HEAT via industry sources, a Stussy x Nike Air Max Penny 2 is expected to release in the Fall of 2022, with the streetwear legends expected to continue their hemp/canvas construct on the pair. A black colorway is confirmed, but there will likely be a natural hemp colorway, too, and possibly a third release.

Of course, this is not the only Stussy collaboration on the way for 2022, with the long-time Nike partners also linking up on the Air Force 1 for its 40th anniversary as well as a handful of Air Max 2013s.

First and official looks at the Stussy x Nike Air Max Penny 2 has landed in its black colorway, confirming the pair’s all-over textile construct, complete with woven hemp pulls. The completely murdered-out release features a few pops of white branding, most noticeably the Stussy motif at the midfoot and Niek Air embroidery at the heel. The pair comes complete with two sets of laces and special-edition packaging. See for yourself below, and expect to learn more about its release in the coming weeks.

A second Stussy x Nike Air Max Penny 2 has surfaced in a striking black and green color scheme, this one ditching the hemp construct in favor of winterized textile and supple suede. The former, along with the midsole rise and tongues, features a jet black finish, while the suede sits above in vibrant green hues. Outsoles feature a splash of hot red; so too does the pair’s visible Air support. A stunning chrome rear cap then completes the design alongside three sets of laces and special-edition packaging.
