Target is the latest institution to join the ongoing 30th anniversary celebration of Pokémon.
The U.S.-based retailer joins the likes of McDonald's, LEGO®, and adidas in prepping special-edition product inspired by the world of Pocket Monsters. As a company that produces everything from apparel and accessories to home goods, Target's commemorative collection for Pokémon consists of graphic t-shirts, colorful tote bags, a computer keyboard, water bottles, and more.
One standout item already praised by netizens is a Kanto Region jacket made in collaboration with Starter. The blue, yellow, and red pullover jacket features Poké Ball emblems and embroidered editions of respective gym badges underneath the front flap.
The Target-exclusive collection debuts in stores on Saturday, May 2, before arriving to Target.com on Sunday, May 3. A second Pokémon x Target drop takes place in June.
