The Best Sneaker Releases Dropping From July 28 to August 1

The calendar turns from July to August with one of the busiest sneaker weeks of the summer.

Jordan Brand gets things started with its new Triangle performance model before Nike Basketball takes over with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Kobe Bryant releases. The lineup also stretches beyond the hardwood, with new running shoes from On, 3D-printed Air Max footwear, Foamposite-inspired football cleats and another Pharrell x adidas VIRGINIA drop.

July 28

Jordan Brand opens the week with the Jordan Triangle “NY vs. NY.” The tournament-inspired colorway connects the brand’s newest performance basketball model to New York’s summer streetball scene, following other grassroots editions tied to Quai 54 and Next Stop Dongdan.

July 29

Wednesday belongs largely to Kevin Durant.

The Nike KD 19 “Berry Blast” and “Butter Candy” arrive together, giving Durant’s latest signature model two completely different monochromatic finishes. “Berry Blast” covers the sculpted silhouette in metallic blue, while “Butter Candy” goes nearly head-to-toe in a golden-orange shade. Both pairs retail for $155.

New Balance also brings back the women’s 530 “Polka Dots.” The $110 lifestyle pair keeps things clean in white and silver, adding translucent polka-dot panels across the upper.

July 30

Thursday delivers the week’s most varied slate.

Nike’s Vaporposite Pro U.S. Football Cleat Pack brings Foamposite styling to the gridiron in Game Royal and University Red, while the popular “Pearl” colorway receives a restock. Each pair is priced at $210.

The experimental Nike Air Max 1000.2 “Glacier Blue” also arrives for $180, pairing an all-black printed construction with an icy blue Air window. Nike continues its Air Max rollout with the Air Max Joga Bonito “Neon,” a football-inspired design carrying familiar grey, black and neon-green tones.

On adds a serious performance option with the LightSpray Cloudboom Strike 2 “White/Yellow.” The ultra-light race shoe weighs approximately 158 grams, uses a five-millimeter drop and releases for $310 with a matching pair of Elite Run socks.

July 31

Nike Basketball closes July with two very different retros and signature releases.

The Nike Air Zoom Flight ’98 “The Glove” returns in its classic black-and-white arrangement for $170, bringing Gary Payton’s zipped-up design back for another run.

Devin Booker’s Nike Book 2 “Tiger Camo” goes in the opposite direction with a loud orange-and-black camouflage upper and gum outsole. The pair is currently expected to release July 31 for $145.

August 1

The first day of August is stacked.

Kobe Bryant’s growing Nike footwear line delivers three releases, led by the tonal Kobe 3 Low Protro “Atomic Pink” for $190. The Kobe x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Electric Green” follows in Vast Grey with a bright green lining and outsole, while the white-and-orange “Lord of the Rings” Air Force 1 Protro references Bryant’s nickname.

Jordan Brand counters with two major retros. The Air Jordan 13 “Flint” returns in full-family sizing for $215, while the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Love Letter” draws from Michael Jordan’s farewell message to basketball and arrives for $185.

Pharrell and adidas also bring back the oversized VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish in a clean white colorway. The chunky lifestyle model releases for $300 through adidas, VIRGINIA and select retailers.
