Drake is poised to revive the Air Zoom Drive for the very first time, while industry peer J Blavin has been confirmed for his third Air Jordan collaboration.

New Balance unveiled their annual "Grey Day" release schedule, and we also took a look back at the best custom sneaker from April, including an epic Dunkin' Donuts Dunk Low.

Grab a full recap of this past week's top stories below, and keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for this coming week's news as it happens.

Where to Buy the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 "Sunset"

Jordan Brand's extended family has grown star-studded recently, boasting partnerships with some of the music industry's brightest talents. From initial collaborations with Eminem in the early 00's, the brand's list of talent has exploded, with Travis Scott and Billie Eilish serving as a stronghold over the next generation of music fans. J Balvin is another. The Colombian singer-songwriter has already made waves with his Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2 collaborations in 2020 and 2022, respectively, and it seems he'll keep things going in sequential order, as he's expected to add his vibrant touch to the next model in line: the Air Jordan 3.

The Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack Drops December 19

John McEnroe’s signature Nike sneaker from 1984 is poised to return in 2022, with a first-ever re-release of the Nike Mac Attack – and they’re bringing along a notable name to help kick things off. Retailers and long-time Nike collaborators Social Status have been linked to a kick-off collaboration on the retro tennis model, but it appears that they won't be the only big names behind the silhouette's resurgence — and there's no bigger name in footwear right now than Travis Scott.

Detailed Looks // Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Florida Gators” PE

Jumpman-affiliated universities across the country typically kick off the academic year with their own exclusive Player Editions. From UNC to Michigan, almost every single school has unveiled its exclusive Air Jordan 1 Low OG for 2023. Next is the University of Florida, and Jordan Brand has ensured that their Air Jordan 1 Low OG is decked out in the team's signature orange and blue colors. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Florida Gators" PE is perfectly tailored for Gainesville's students and athletes, showcasing UF's iconic hues.

The Best Custom Sneakers From April 2023

April arrived with a full head of steam for bespoke sneaker builders with 4/20 firmly in sight. Sure, we had some killer efforts for the unofficial holiday — including some Skunk SB Dunk Lows and "Pink Panther" Air Max 1s — but it was the options from left-field that garnered the most attention. Big Red Boots were turned into Big Timberlands, Union Air Jordan 4s were infused into an Air Max 1, and two surprising Dunk Lows — "What The Mario" and a pair made for Dunkin' — stole the show.

Where to Buy the NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Drive "Black"

Drake and his NOCTA imprint are set to revive the Nike Air Zoom Drive for the first time since 1999. The original design (pictured below) featured a seamless upper made from Nike's "power mesh," providing breathability and durability. Although NOCTA's take on the classic may involve different materials and a refreshed design, it's expected to retain the iconic Zoom Air units and the moderator plate underfoot, which were hallmarks of the Air Zoom Drive.

Devin Booker's Signature Sneaker Debuts Holiday 2023

As of late 2022, speculation has been rife that Devin Booker was on track to obtain his own signature Nike sneaker. The rumors have now been validated by Sole Retriever, who confirms that the Nike Book 1 is officially set to launch during Holiday 2023. The inaugural colorway, dubbed "Clay Orange," features a Suns-inspired palette of clay orange, ice peach, and campfire orange. While specific design and color placement details remain under wraps, we anticipate that Booker's personality and background will play a significant role in shaping the sneaker's aesthetic.
