Teddy Santis Puts a Patriotic Spin on this Made in USA New Balance 990v2

The New Balance 990v2 has seen a resurgent rise in 2022 thanks to a handful of notable collaborations and its willful inclusion in Teddy Santis’ freshman Made in USA season. Ithe the latter that has proven to be the most fruitful, with the retro runner sprouting fresh new colorways on a bi-monthly basis. This month, there’s a third, with this patriotic pair joining a striking “Marigold” release, as well as a heritage-riddled “Castlerock” colorway.

Distancing itself from the aforementioned, this effort leans on warm white mesh and suede before bok-ending the pair in dark navy suedes. Pops of red flush the scattered brandmarks and motifs, whilst a Santis-staple sail midsole rests beneath. Bright white laces serve as a juxtaposition to the oft-used aged look hues, with black and navy rubber outsoles rounding out the design.
