The NBA's All-Star Weekend has played a pivotal role in sneakers over the years. From Michael Jordan debuting the Air Jordan 3 'Black Cement' in 1988's main event to Nike athletes donning space-inspired kicks throughout 2012's competition in Orlando, Fla., the three-day stretch has delivered countless moments to diehard sneaker enthusiasts.
This year's All-Star Weekend promises to continue the trend. Veteran All-Stars Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and LeBron James will be joined by newer faces like Cade Cunningham and Evan Mobley in putting on a show in San Francisco's Chase Center on Sunday, Feb. 16. Before the main event, some of the sneaker space's biggest players will take over the Bay Area with special activations and product launches exclusive to All-Star Weekend 2025.
To help you navigate the Bay Area between Tuesday, Feb. 11, and Sunday, Feb. 16, we've compiled this guide. If you're not in Northern California, don't fret!: Some of the weekend's biggest releases will also take place online.
Wednesday, Feb. 12

Crocs' Classic Clog collaboration with the NBA will be available at Foot Locker's Experience at 150 Powell Street and online.
Local retailer Shoe Palace will also open up its doors at 301-323 Geary Street (formerly Express) to host a number of events and celebrity appearances. Klay Thompson will release two styles of his ANTA KT10 signature model – 'Moneyball' and '$3 Coin' – in partnership with Shoe Palace.

Most folks will begin arriving in the Bay Area on Thursday. Reebok, adidas, and ANTA will receive visitors to the San Francisco area with a mix of performance and lifestyle footwear.
Nike's Future Game experience also commences on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts in Oakland. The three-day event will be open to the public and showcase a number of the Swoosh's NIL athletes like AJ Dybantsa. Local designers will be around to create product customizations exclusive to the experience.
The Angel Reese-approved Reebok Engine A will debut during the Weekend, marking the brand's first foray into performance-basketball in over a decade.
Kyrie Irving and ANTA will host KAI DELI at Foot Locker's Union Square location. Inspired by the corner stores found in Irving's home state of New Jersey, the pop-up will offer giveaways and the limited launch of the ANTA KAI 1 Speed 'Bag Work' and ANTA Hélà Style 'Roots' collection.

Friday, Feb. 14
The Weekend really gets going on Friday. The NBA will host its Celebrity All-Star Game as well as the Castrol Rising Stars showcase.
LaMelo Ball didn't make the All-Star Roster this year, but he and his Big Cat partner will be present via their MB.04 collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Nike 'Black Label' Collection also launches at the Future Game experience, Nike San Francisco (278 Post Street), and Foot Locker Union Square, marking Nike Basketball's presence during the Weekend.
PJ Tucker's The Better Generation boutique will open up its sneaker and culture experience at Pier 70 on Friday. In addition to exclusive sneaker drops and immersive activities, the better+ All-Star Showcase will host a contest for a free 1996 Corvette. While seemingly random, the prize is a thoughtful nod to the Nike Air Foamposite One 'Galaxy' that debuted in 2012. The pair will release throughout the Weekend at Foot Locker and other retailers; a global online launch is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21.

Anthony Edwards and adidas Basketball will release more colorways of the popular AE1. The model's 'Champagne Metallic' makeover will launch in its traditional Mid height and Low trim.
Stephen Curry had to be present during an All-Star Weekend held in the Bay Area. He and his Under Armour family will release the multi-colored Curry 12 'What the Bay' at UA's Union Square location. A limited number of pairs will also release via Shoe Palace (in-store and online)
Converse will host an immersive brand experience at 300 Grant Avenue (just off Union Square), providing fans the opportunity to enjoy product customization, exclusive apparel and footwear, and surprise guest appearances. The activation is influenced by Converse's Creative Director of Basketball and NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Friday's biggest drop, however, will be the release of the Air Jordan 1 '85 'Bred' retro. Early, narrative-driven launches have already taken place across the globe, but the legendary 'Black/University Red' pair will also be present in the Bay Area on Feb. 14.

Sunday, Feb. 17
You might want to use Sunday to recover from the previous days' sneaker hunting. Few drops have been planned for All-Star Weekend's final day, but Jayson Tatum's Jordan Tatum 3 'Blueprint' and the Jordan Heir inspired by Paolo Banchero's Seattle Rotary AAU Team will launch in-person and online.
In past years, geo-specific events have taken place through the Nike SNKRS app. Expect the Bay Area's All-Star Weekend to include some SNKRS events between Feb. 14 and 17. Keep an eye on @HouseofHeat on X for live updates.
