This Week’s Best Sneaker Releases: August 31–September 5

September gets underway with a loaded week of releases, but the action actually begins on August 31, with new drops from Kith and adidas alongside the latest from Angel Reese’s signature line.

Kith and adidas Originals kick things off with the Samba “Denim,” a new take on the classic silhouette featuring canvas construction, denim overlays, pony hair and embroidered Three Stripes, and Kith branding throughout. The pair releases August 31 alongside two new colorways of the Angel Reese 1.\

September 1 brings one of the busiest days of the week. Nike has several Kobe-related releases lined up, including the Kobe Bryant x Air Force 1 Low “Armory Blue,” Kobe 3 Low Protro “Electric Green,” Kobe 3 Low Protro “Platinum Grey,” and the FC Barcelona x Nike Kobe Pack. The returning Nike Zoom Hyperflight “Varsity Red” is also expected to land.

Elsewhere, JENNIE’s first adidas Originals collection releases September 1, while Nike continues its NFL push with the NFL x Air Max 90 “Rivalries” collection, bringing team-inspired colorways to the classic runner.

Two potentially major collaborations are also currently linked to September 1. The expansive Pokémon x adidas Originals collection and Yu-Gi-Oh! x Crocs collection have both been associated with the date, though neither release has been officially confirmed yet.

September 2 shifts the attention back toward basketball and Jordan Brand. Devin Booker’s Nike Book 2 “Iron Fist” is scheduled alongside the women’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Nails & Grails,” which pairs a pale base with glossy red patent leather and nail-inspired accessories.

On September 3, Converse adds the SHAI 001 Lace Up “Cheetah” to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s growing signature lineup, while New Balance delivers its first installment from its Made in USA FW26 program with MiUSA Drop 1.

Another stacked day follows on September 4. The adidas Harden Vol. 10 “Gradient” joins Ja Morant’s Nike Ja 4 “Dark Mode” and the latest Nike Twelve Time Pack, while Deion Sanders’ signature catalog continues with the Nike Air Diamond Turf “49ers.”

The week wraps up September 5 with the return of the Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow,” bringing the white, black, and yellow colorway back for the first time in two decades.
